SOFTBALL LEAGUE INFORMATION
Summer Collegiate Softball in Charleston, SC
CCL Softball gives college players a competitive summer and the live game reps they need. Every game is played in the Charleston area, so your summer goes to at-bats, innings, training, and recovery instead of long road trips. Launching in summer 2027.
Our Mission
CCL Softball was created to raise the standard for summer softball. Our goal is to give current and incoming college athletes a competitive, player-first league where they can train, compete, and grow while experiencing everything Charleston has to offer.
Why CCL Softball
For many college softball players, summer means weekend tournaments, long drives, and inconsistent playing time. We built CCL Softball as an alternative: a structured league with a regular schedule, consistent competition, and time to train and recover between games. As a new league, everything from the schedule to the coaching to the housing was designed with college athletes in mind.

A Typical Week
Teams play three to four games per week, leaving the rest of the week for training on your own, recovery, a summer job, or enjoying Charleston.
Housing and Player Support
Players from outside the area can request placement with a local host family. We match players with families based on location, availability, and household preferences, and league staff are available to players and parents throughout the season.
Charleston as Your Summer Home
Charleston offers more than sunshine. With its beaches, culture, and growing sports community, it's a summer home athletes remember, and a place to keep improving at the game they love.
