2026 Charleston Collegiate Baseball League Championship Set to Begin July 6
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Championship baseball has arrived in the Lowcountry.
Following six weeks of regular season competition, the 2026 Charleston Collegiate Baseball League Championship begins Monday, July 6, featuring all four clubs in a double-elimination tournament to determine this year's league champion.
The postseason opens with two winner's bracket matchups at Lucy Beckham High School before continuing throughout the week. The championship game is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at the College of Charleston Baseball Stadium.
Championship Seeds
After the completion of the regular season, the final standings are set:
No. 1 – Port City Anchors
The Anchors earned the league's top seed after finishing with the best regular season record and will look to carry that momentum into the postseason.
No. 2 – Charleston Islanders
The Islanders secured the No. 2 seed and enter the tournament after consistently competing near the top of the standings throughout the summer.
No. 3 – Surf
The Surf finished the regular season as the No. 3 seed and will look to make a run through the championship bracket.
No. 4 – North Charleston
North Charleston rounds out the field as the No. 4 seed and enters the postseason looking to challenge the top teams for the league title.

The tournament begins with a matchup between two clubs that have played highly competitive baseball throughout the regular season. The winner advances in the championship bracket, while the losing team will move into the elimination bracket.
Game 2
No. 1 Port City Anchors vs. No. 4 North Charleston
Monday, July 6
5:30 p.m.
Lucy Beckham High School
The top-seeded Anchors begin their postseason run against North Charleston in the evening matchup to close Opening Day.
Tournament Format
The Charleston Collegiate Baseball League Championship will follow a double-elimination format, meaning a team must lose twice before being eliminated from championship contention.
Games will continue Tuesday and Wednesday before the championship is decided on Thursday evening at the College of Charleston.
A Summer of Growth
The 2026 season marked another significant step forward for the Charleston Collegiate Baseball League, expanding our league and welcoming nearly 70 collegiate athletes representing NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College programs from across the country.
Now, after six weeks of regular season play, one team will finish the season as the 2026 Charleston Collegiate Baseball League Champion.
Fans are encouraged to attend throughout championship week and support some of the nation's top collegiate baseball talent as they compete for the league title. Admission is available at the gate.
